UPEI Statement: Artist presentation

UPEI offered Mr. Christopher Griffin the opportunity to participate in a panel discussion to be developed thoughtfully and including other voices on the topic of free expression. 

On April 15, upon learning of a planned meeting on April 16, Mr. Griffin requested to be heard at that meeting. In response, the University accepted that request and scheduled a time for his presentation in the Performing Arts Centre Amphitheatre, from 1:00 to 2:00 pm on April 16.

UPEI continues to support freedom of expression and remains committed to developing a future panel discussion addressing expression in times of socio-political tension.
