UPEI’s Department of Athletics and Recreation celebrated the 2024–25 season at the annual UPEI Panther Celebration – Athletic Awards Gala on Friday, March 28, recognizing outstanding student-athletes who have excelled in sport, the classroom, and the community.

The Canadian Wildlife Health Cooperative-Atlantic Region presented with the Heritage Recognition Award from the PEI Museum and Heritage Foundation.

UPEI launched its Master of Cleantech Leadership and Transformation on March 24. The professional master’s degree combines environmental science and technology with a study of cleantech policy, regulations, equity, business, and Indigenous ways of knowing.

Dr. Hilding Neilson, Memorial University, will give a lecture titled “Space is Part of the Land: Moving from Colonialism and Space Exploitation to Indigenous Models of Operating in Space,” on April 2, at 4:00 pm, in Kelley Memorial Building 237, UPEI.
