McKinley Nelson and Cameron Brown named UPEI Panther Subway Athletes of the Week

Every week, UPEI Athletics and Recreation recognizes two student-athletes for their achievements and contributions to their respective sports. The UPEI Panther Subway Athletes of the Week for January 31–February 5 are McKinley Nelson (women’s hockey) and Cameron Brown (men’s basketball).

Nelson, an arts student from Calgary, Alberta, is on a scoring tear with six goals in the last five games. This weekend, the sophomore forward deposited a goal in a 5-0 win over Mount Allison University and followed that up with two more in a 4-3 overtime loss to Saint Mary’s University.
