The Atlantic Veterinary College (AVC) is pleased to host its annual Ice Cream Social for AVC faculty and staff on Thursday, June 22 at 2 p.m. During the event, the Dean's Awards of Excellence will be presented to four staff recipients nominated by their colleagues and peers in recognition of their contributions to AVC. 

The Atlantic Veterinary College will be hosting its White Coat Ceremony and Awards Night on Tuesday, May 16 at 4 p.m. at the Prince Edward Island Convention Centre at the Delta Prince Edward by Marriott. This annual event celebrates graduates of the doctor of veterinary medicine program. 

The UPEI Teaching Community Conference has been cancelled for 2023. Our plans for this event will be pushed ahead to May 2024. Details about our 2024 conference, including a call for session proposals, will be shared in the fall 2023 semester. Dr. Kathy Gottschall-Pass will talk about some of the things faculty members should focus on for tenure and promotion purposes on Friday, January 27, from 2:30 to 4:00 pm (snow date: February 16).
