UPEI Faculty of Sustainable Design Engineering holds annual student awards

The UPEI Faculty of Sustainable Design Engineering (FSDE) Student Awards ceremony was held on March 4, 2025. This annual event celebrated the accomplishments of the students and the generosity of the donors who support them. 

The awards recognize sustainability, academic success, and leadership and include entrance awards from the beginning of the year as well as fall and winter awards. Students who are on the Dean’s list were also celebrated.

Lunch and Learn: Build work-integrated learning into your courses

Building work-integrated learning (WIL) into your courses can help students gain experience, build their network, and learn new skills. Join our lunch and learn with Experiential Education; we'll provide you some examples of what WIL looks like at UPEI and workshop real time how to build WIL into your programs, courses, and assignments. Learn about what supports are available for planning, programming, and identifying partnerships. UPEI presents Theology on Tap

The UPEI Department of Religious Studies presents Theology on Tap at 7:00 pm at the Salvador Dali Cafe, The Arts Hotel, 155 Kent Street, Charlottetown. 

Dr. Callum Beck, a sessional lecturer at UPEI, will give a presentation titled “Riots, Civil Disobedience, and Protests: Theological and Practical Reflections on the Belfast (1847) and Orange Day (1877) Riots.” 

UPEI Men’s Basketball Panthers look to upset host UBC as Final 8 tips off Thursday

The UPEI Men’s Basketball Panthers come into the Indochino U SPORTS Final 8 Championship fresh off their first Atlantic University Sport (AUS) title in 22 years. Their quarter-final game will be played against host UBC at midnight (ADT) at the Doug Mitchell Thunderbird Sports Centre in Vancouver, British Columbia and is available to watch on CBC Gem.

Pitching fundamentals with Permjot Valia | Harry W. MacLauchlan Entrepreneurship Program workshop series

The Catherine Callbeck Centre for Entrepreneurship is hosting an in-person workshop on pitching fundamentals on Wednesday, March 26, from 4:00-6:00 pm with world-renowned pitch coach Permjot Valia! Participants will learn tools, tips, and tricks around executing a business pitch effectively, efficiently, and engagingly! 

This event is part of the Harry W. MacLauchlan Entrepreneurship Program, but anyone from the public is welcome to attend!
